    POSSIBILITIES:

    Bad router

    Bad service provider

    Bad line

    most likely a bad plug

i'd update the firmware from the linksys website.

i have no problems with my v5 WRT54GS. everything went better after i switched to DD-WRT firmware. only update to third party firmware if you know what you're doing, or else you'll end up with a $70 brick.

It's probably hanging due to overheating or too much bandwidth. Are youi torrenting through it, or downloading large files by other means?
