why do iso's come out before the real game ?

    Ok today got me thinking after the release of Summer Athletics 4 days ago a full 35 days before UK Release

    And today Soul Calibur a full 25 days before release of the actual titles instore

    how do people get hold of these iso files so quickly and early ?

    The Soul Calibur IV torrent was a fake FYI.

    Some people just have connections so they get the games earlier.

    They usually get shipped to the stores a lot earlier so somebody can just take them and upload them.

    It creates a lot of traffic for the torrent sites which means they get a lot of money in advertising revenue so it's in their interest to get big games up as early as possible.

    Damn the pirates always get the first dibs and they get the experience for free too.

    Makes you feel sorry for those moronic fanboys.

    The isos come from real games.

    Whether they be retail employees ripping their early copies, or beta testers, just like with movies and music people always manage to get their hands on stuff days before it hits shelves.
