Why do you have so many consoles?

I have owed probably nearly 100 xboxes, due to all the ones, I sell and repair. Lately I have been getting lucky and getting a lot under warranty. Every time I have to get a box registered in my name (call in) they ask me "why do you have so many consoles?"

Obviously this is my business and not his. I usually tell them I have a game room. This worry anyone else? I am obviously reselling the units.

I tell them that I intend to be able to play the games I invest money in more than 3 years down the road and need the multiple consoles to ensure that this happens.

    They shut up after that.

they ask me everytime as well, and i only have around 15 registered ones i believe. i have 3 more coming in i just got from ebay, and im going to register those under my brothers account. my usual answers are, is there a limit to how many consoles i can own?, or its my damn business so why the f*ck does it matter to you. or, your sh*t sucks so i have to keep buying new ones. usually shuts them up.

Just 15 LOL. Thought you did more than that. You can also wipe your account clean if you ask.

well im pretty sure MS has actually deleted some of my consoles. because i know it should be more than that, as i have 12 sets of those styrofoam packing things at my house, and i did at least another 10 consoles during my jr/sr year at wabash. so something is just wrong there. but yea. going to run up my brothers account for a little while, then probably use some of his frat brothers accounts just so MS stops asking.

or.....make up some new xbox gamer tag and use my brother address since there are like 40 guys there. just make up a name like tony sanchez or robert pullman, something that sounds as if it you could be a real person (not john smith, or bob jones).

They have some nerve. If they had the temerity ask me something like that I would ask them why almost every aspect of their shoddily made machine breaks after use.

I've ran into one lady (fiesty with Texas accent) on the phone that refused to register it under my account and wanted to charge the $100 for the rrod repair because of the original owner thing. Hung up with her and called again the next day and talked to "the right person" that hooked it up. That was one of the first ones I called in. After that if I have to change registration I'll just not mention anything about repair and have it added to live account. Then a few days later or whatever just click repair online and print a label those are the best. Been lucky lately the last 8 out of 10 haven't been registered where you can just do it all online and don't have to call and deal with any bs. They seemed to be taking 2-3 weeks to get back when they first started the 3 year extended, been coming back to me in about 6-7 bus days lately though from the Texas sites.

I do it right away. Just tell them you bought it second hand from Game stop. They will honor the warranty that way.

True. Most of the time they will. That lady I described from Texas specifically mentioned game stop consoles and the whole original owner bit (first time I heard of that and to this day doesn't make any sense to me just an excuse to not fix their broken box). I told her I'd fix it myself before I paid $100 for something that I thought was under warranty. What difference does it make if it had 10 owners as long as it's sealed and under warranty I asked her? She then told me that they were the only ones that could fix it right and if the seal was broken then they at ms call that ta-ta-tampering(exactly like that). Haven't ran into anyone remotely quite that bad since then but there's definately call people out there like that even if it's a small %.
