Hi! I have a Toshiba dvd recorder and DVD Shrink has never had a problem recognizing the programs. Recently however i go into reauthor and i get a folder with "VIDEO_TS" on it and no files inside. The files are there if i go into My Computer and select the drive with the disc in but Shrink doesn't seem to be able to read them anymore. I am using the same Tesco branded DVD-R RW as before but a new bundle and they are definately finalised. Any suggestions please as it's doing my head in. Thanks loads in advance.
I've never seen that problem with DVD Shrink. Try ripping the disks to a folder using 'DVDFab HD Decrypter, then open with DVD Shrink. http://www.videohelp.com/tools/DVDFab_Decrypter
every once in a while I will have this problem. When I do, I run the vob files through a program called Fix VTS and it spits out a file which dvd shrink can read. This is once in like a 100 rips. It usually occurs on damaged disks. Look for in the downloads sections.
