I have tried 3 different movies: Family Guy Blue Harvest (45 mins long but took over 2 hours) The Number 23 (took over 5 hours) & Jumper (took over 6 hours) and they are all taking super long to convert. I can normally burn them disk to disk in about 30 mins, so why is it taking so long to convert to ipod? Can someone please tell me what the fastest settings I should be on. I have no idea what the fixed bitrate should be set at to make it faster, is it smaller # is faster or higher is faster? and know the resolution should be set smaller like 320x240 or whatever since it is only an 8ogb ipod doesnt need to be so big to be clear. What about the framerate, what should that be set at? or the sound? I know its asking alot, but I am getting really frustrated with all of this. To take over 3 hours is ridiculous. It cant be my computer either because I've tried on 2 different ones, one that is older with amd 1600+ 1.41ghz 512k ram and win xp sp2 & the other is only a year old, amd dual core 2ghz 1gb ram & win xp sp2. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
so then help me out instead of following me around and saying that. need help so since no one can help me and think I started off in the wrong section anyways, figured I'd go to the ipod section.
