why does my computer make air conition sounds or cooling sounds

    hi guyz why does my computer make air conition sounds
    in the hard drive im running HP Pavillion T760a 3.20GHZ 512MBmemory 160GB Serial ATA Hd ATI Radeon X300 128MB why does this happen is it cooling it down

    possiblility 1 of the fans needs lubrication. does this only happen when you 1st start up the computer after it was off for a # of hours?
