First time I recorded a movie onto a DVD+R, it worked fine on my XBox but not on my standalone or the PS2. When I used a DVD+RW, my XBox won't play it but my standalone and PS2 do. Why is that? I looked up the compatibility for the 3 players, and it's supposedly to be both DVD+R and DVD+RW compatible. Can someone please help me? I'm using DVD-decryptor and Nero 5.5. The media I'm using is the TDK's DVD+R and Fuji's DVD+RW.
Why is the moon round? Why is the sun hot? It just is. Try a variety of media. Or if your burner supports multi-format, try dvd-r instead, better compatibility.
Try burning at a slower speed using higher quality media. Use Ritek G04's or Princo 4x Datwrite yellows, not the red!
