I've been burning DVD videos, movies and DVD data disks for ages using Nero 7. I use -R disks. Suddenly, just now, it started to refuse to burn my data disks for me, telling me that the disks are the wrong type and I need R/RW or DVD R DL (whatever that is). Why would it suddenly do this? I haven't changed my DVD burner nor have I done anything else that I know of. As recently as yesterday it burned a movie, as recently as three or four days ago it burned four data disks. What's going on? How can I trouble shoot this problem? Where's the problem coming from? Anyone know anything about this? I googled the error and got a few hits including one from afterdawn but they were all from about 2006 and not very helpful. regards, ab
Post your log, please. Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.txt There is a good chance that your burner is giving up. Can your burner still read?
