I still play red alert 2, I dont understand why EA games dont just re-release the same games with updates graphics, 1080p support, windows 10 full compatibility.

Some of the newer renditions are just atrocious and I don't know why anyone would play them. I still play the clasics like red alert 2, age of mythology, command and conquer generals.

I cannot play C&C generals any more because I can't get it to run on windows 10, and red alert 2 is quite buggy any background apps can cause it to minimise and when minimised it can't be re-opened again.

Updating for 1 person isn't good business. If there was profit in it they would've already

They do not do it and they probably will not do it because it will generate a small profit and unfortunately it will not pay off for them, which is a pity because it would be interesting how the classics would start remasering

You can try installing your games in the suitable Compatibility mode or a VM.

In many cases, updating a program can be like rewriting the whole program. Not many updates are as simply as they sound.

if you want to run ancient games why not either use an ancient vintage computer (I have a 486 which plays Doom like a beast) or play about with dosbox.. which is way more fun than you could imagine..
