Why download Media Center ?

    Can someone explain to me why people would want Xp Media Center when they do not have any type of tv tuner or infra-red on their pc ? I seen a couple of people downloading it illegally/ legally (dunno bout that) and they don't even have the equipment to go with it ! So if there is a perfectly good reason apart from they are stupid, please tell me.
