Tons of people have reported their xbox 360 breaking down or overheating why would you pay for a system that isint reliable.

 

because its microsoft and you love them, or you dont have as muhc money to start, even tho in the long run it will cost more.

 

I like how you said that right after dngle posted two links of screenshots, the ps3 one being a lot more heavy on the "shiny"...

edit** what dngle said earlier is exactly what is on the cubetoons level 30. it's sort of funny. yet true. about everything.

 

im just saying thats how they pass off as as good. the ps3 beats it in those catagories either way.

My one stament earlier on was a "rhetorical" question (noticed that i did not put a ?). I still know why people want to get xbox360 its just they shouldent at the beginning when it came out because they had a chance of it breaking down on them unles they would of got it on the first day it came out then they wouldent know about the problems it has. Overall xbox 360 is still a decent system i just think ps3 will be better. (my opinion)

Oh you know how you said that that ps3 is alot heavier on the "shiny" i think that anubis66 was using his sentence "the 360 is nothing more than shiny and shaders" well i think that was a figure of speech.

 

But we have to take into concideration that the ps3 isint even out yet and xbox 360 been out for nearly a year. But when ps3 actually comes out then we can have a fair competetion to see which system is better.

 

near a year? you call a bit over a 8 months almost a year? thats like saying the ps3 is almost release since 360 days after the 360 launch comes ps3.

Yeah true i think sony wanted it be like that just so the can mock them. Since everyone will know ps3 will make a mighty triumph.

 

a complete 360 around 360, meaning much greatness that is to behold in the ps3 over its competator (yet unknown if itt'l be that good, just the marketing they want).

 

I wonder if ps3 will ahve problems with thier systems like over heating and such. I dont think so becasue of their delay on the release date they probebly fixed some problems. But what do you think about that?

 

i dont think they will have too many issues, because they need to have a smooth release in order to say "we're better". if they can pull of a decent v1 then they have get a fast launch into the next gen. overheating wont be an issue the way they cool it, they have some of the 1337est designers for compating with lots of heat loss.

Anubis and you say xbox 360 had shortages of epic proportions but Sony cut their shipment in half and shipped even less consoles to the U.S than sony did the ps2 so how did the 360 have it worse???

And yet poeple still think the ps2 didnt have issues and that it was just MS or like Anubis and some others think the good ole excuse of MS had it bad...true they may have had it a tad worse but Sony is not flawless i know thats hard to hear but its true oh its damn true(LOL Kurt Angle) and on top of the fact that MS was one if the the first world wide launch...not simeltaneuos but weeks apart.Also im going back on an old convo with you anubis stating MS only released 800,00 consoles at launch and how little that was...seems sony had even less than that avaible!Nice to see how sony kept all their issues under rap and MS couldnt...but yeh history doesn trepeat itself and even though sony messed up the same console twice the ps3 will have no issues...

Ps2 is alot older system then xbox 360. So im compaing ps3 to xbox 360 not ps2. Plus the new ps2 dont over heat and brake down. The text states early models of the ps2. They dont even make those models any more so theres really no point of even saying that. Xbox 360 is way newer then ps2 and yet they still have those problems years after.

 

all that is true, but i'll be an optomist and say this....this is sony's 3rd time around. they seem to be pretty careful about what information is released, and it would appear that they are taking the time to get the system ready rather than just throwing it out there on the shelves.

 

And thats exactly why its going to beat out any other system release out already.

 

responses that i expected. the slim ps2 was just released a couple of years ago and it said plain as day that it had overheating issues but say what you will these are the usual sony excuses.PR team at afterdawn.com to thee rescue LOL. The 360 did and still does have some unexcusable issues with their hardware and it is newere system. The ps3 will face the same things mark my words then eat them!
