    hi :)
have you been successful before now. or is this the first time you have tried shrink on your PC ?
During the encoding proccess it is using 100% of your cpu's resourses, on a less powerfull PC everything should be shut down (no multi tasking)

Another thing you could do is uncheck enable Video Preview, while it's analyzing & Encoding. I agree that Dvd Shrink is a resource hog, so you better not be doing much of anything else while it's working. Maybe look into a program called MultiShrink, which you can use with Dvd Shrink while you are sleeping or at work.

I've been useing it for the last four months. This just started last week. I add more memory in my computer also shut down a bunch of stuff that i didn't need running.I uninstalled & reinstalled it & tried enabling the VideoPreview & Nero. Whenever its analyzing or encoding it will freeze my computer half way through it.

It most probably won't help but ya never know, check your fragmentation of your hdd,if it's showing a fair few red lines,it may be worth a shot,it's best done in safe mode but before you do,uncheck the hybernation box if you have hyber enabled, set page file to NONE,boot to safe, once defragged reset pagefile (while in safe mode) to a set number so the min & max are the same, setting the page file to a set size stops it expanding & shrinking which causes unnecessary fragementation, you could also do a disk cleanup while your at it.
