why is security@account.meta.com sending emails ??

    I just received an email from security@account.meta.com - asking me if I Logged in from my city - my Question is - is this Legit ??? I have never ever sent them anything - & I dont intend to - why all of the sudden ?? or is this because Facebook is using their service ??

    If your device had a recent update, and you also recently logged on to Facebook, then your logon information was accepted but your device wasn't recognized. So you were sent an email to let you know there was a logon. Meta is the new name for Facebook and all the other online companies Zuckerberg is CEO of. You don't need to respond to the email, because they will know that you've already received it. A word of caution never respond to an email asking you to verify your password, because no legitimate company or bank will ever ask for it in an email.
