Why do karaoke discs use CDG files? What kind of disc are these files burnt onto? If it is a CD, why? Why doesn't karaoke files use a DVD file? DVDs are much bigger than CDs. I'm trying to find a way to burn some CDG and MP3 files onto a disc to play in my karaoke DVD player. How can I do this?
The karaoke is like an "mp3 with subtitles", is the Mp3 +the lyrics. You need to convert to a bin file to burn your karaoke CD: http://karaoke-tutor.com/cdg-explanation.html http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/boards/ubb/Forum1/HTML/003448.html
Do I need a Cue sheet file for each group of BIN files that I burn to a disc? I tried this before with AVI files but my DVD player wouldn't read the disc. Will most DVD players read these BIN discs? Will a regular DVD burner be able to burn these BIN files?
