I first used DVD decrypter to rip the dvd, then I used DVD Rebuilder with all the default settings and HC as the encoder. After it was done I used Nero to make, burn a DVD. In Nero it gave me these errors: http://img138.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screen26xc.jpg http://img63.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screen7bx.jpg What is with this, VOBs, not belonging to the corresponding, and then files rellocation failed and files compliance? After burning the DVD in Nero I started up VLC and ran it for a few mins. and it seemed to play ok. So what happened here? THANKS
this is a copy protection problem try running the rip thru fixvts 1.24 found here http://www.videohelp.com/~FixVTS/ or you may want to re-rip using dvdfabdecrypter or the psl2 fille wizard and your prob's should melt away basically nero is picky about these files one could burn the iso w/ imgburn but since you are using freeware it's probably best to process teh files or re-rip using tools mentioned above.
If I use DVD Rebuilder Pro will I still have this same problem? I thought with the free DVD Rebuilder all you needed was DVD-Decrypter and a app to burn it afterwards to DVD. THANKS
I just ran the rip thru fixvts, then when I popped it in Nero, no more errors, cool. I think I'll start looking at using DVDFab Decrypter, more often, but actually I thnink I'll buy DVD Rebuilder Pro, looks like a nice investment. THANKS
dvd rebuilder will not fix a bad rip in any form, as of yet. there are a lot of anydvd fan's here but I personally use the psl2 wizard as dvdd little helper both use fixvts. dvdfabdecrypter is also pulling to the front as they been fairly quick with the updates lately. but rebuilder pro is a nice investment all the same.
That Nero error message would not happen with DVD Rebuilder Pro. I say this because DVD Rebuilder Pro has automatic ISO creation and burn with ImgBurn.
AHA very good point, in the mean time any freeware users that want to try this app to let you further experience what pro will do http://www.dvdhounds.com/forums/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=298 *note that this is not quite as "easy" as fully incorporated functions of dvd-rb pro but may ease the nero pain.
Thanks guys, I'll just get DVDRB Pro and use HC or CCE on it, I mean, seems like one tough combo to beat. THANKS
