i have a guess..it's because the topic at hand was rather pointless, despite it being in the safety valve. AfterDawn has been inundated lately with a LOT of pointless threads that add no "real value" to the site. darthnip (moderator) pointed this out earlier and the mods have been a lot more picky lately~

i'm sure it was no offense to you, BUT, threads that are started just to "bump up post counts" for individual members or whatnot are being closed left and right~ it's a decision made by the boss dRD (from what i gather reading about this in the safety valve) and carefully carried out by the moderators of each forum.

i wouldn't be surprised if this one is closed as well~ there really is NO valid reason to start a NEW thread to ask about why your previous one was closed...just PM one of the mods and they will answer for you in much greater detail than i ever could...have a good one.

The thread was closed because there've been too many pointless "Favorite this or that" threads. Safety Valve is a place to blow off steam and have a few conversational threads but it's been turning into a big chatroom which isn't the intended purpose.
