i posted this topic... http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/247581 ...in the DVD Authoring section after looking through all the various sections to try and decide which was the best place to put it... i put it there because i am having problems with DVDs that i author using ANY program (Nero, DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, DVD Fab, or Apollo DVD Copy)... it's true that i showed Nero History logs in my opening post, but i tried to make it clear that i don't think my problem is Nero-specific... i think it might be CPU-specific, rather than having to do with my burner or the media or the software... someone has moved my topic over to the Nero Discussion board... this bothers me because A)the reasons i just posted above for putting the thread where i had it to start with, but more importantly, 2)i had already received a few responses, and was starting to (i think) make a little progress, and it's rather frustrating to have to go searching all over the site to find my topic, and i wonder if the same people who would normally have helped me in the Authoring section will even notice my thread in the Nero section... i don't say any of this to sound malicious... i was just wondering why my topic was moved at all, and what are the chances of getting it put back where i had it???
usually what happens is we get a report that a thread needs to be moved then we either try to figure out where it needs to go or just take the suggestion of the person that requested it was moved. i have moved your thread back into the DVD authoring section.
I moved it because I didn't (and don't) see anything related to authoring in it. It's a burning problem of some kind, and since you're using Nero I moved it to the Nero forum where you might get more help. I think you may be confusing authoring with burning. Authoring is just the process of creating the DVD files, not including getting them on the disc. If you want it somewhere more general than the Nero forum I'll be perfectly happy to move it to one of the general DVD forums. I'll wait until you have a chance to respond to this before I move it this time. Feel free to PM me instead of responding here if you prefer.
vurbal, sorry for the confusion... perhaps my thread would fit in better in one of the general DVD±R sections... thank you for your patience...
No problem Since you seem to have already tried the obvious solutions I'll just move it to the DVD for Advanced Users forum.
