I downloaded a file that was 5.44 GB and it was in the form of a win rar archive. I need to transfer it to my other computer. Thats too big to store on a DVD so I put most of on a DVD and the rest on a CD. When I made a folder and put all the rar files in it, I tried extracting it and it said corrupt volume for all of the files. I tried extracting it on my other computer and it worked. Whats wrong with it?
Make sure your joining the split files back right and arent missing anything out first, that explains probally why the orrigional extracts and not the copy. You've damaged it somehow down the line.
all I did was take some of the files on one DVD, and the rest on the other and put them in one folder. Is there a specific order I need them in?
