tell me why it did not work. firstly let me say that the phone was connet to T-mobile network and has in a t-mobile sim inside, i have tried the code but it did not work. explain to me why it did not work. and why is it that when i enter the code the "restriction on" is displayed and will not come off unless i switch of the phone. will i be able to use this phone or not. please help me. another thing, is there any unlock code for the tzone. i'm having problem accessing the internet with a 6101 which is connected to (C&W jamaica)network. i spoke with a customer rep. and she told me that they do not have t-zone setting so they cant send it to my phone. so i'm asking if there is any unlock code for the t-zone. i also have nokia pc suit but it's no good without the settings. please tell me what to do. thank u.
You will need to have the phone unlocked by a professional unlocker and also have it flashed with uncustomized firmware which will remove the T-Mobile wap settings. T-Mobile locks all wap settings on all phones and this would be the only way to remove it. No code for unlocking the wap settings and the phone you have will not accept an unlocking code because of the date it was made in. I unlock these daily and most of them work fine but there are some that don't work. Customers have even requested unlock codes from T-Mobile and they also wouldn't work. It's something Nokia done during manufacturing the phones during different months and weeks since July 2005 till 12 2005
