What are the wi-fi fees that I always see on the back of my PSP games cases? Does it actually charge you for playing online?
just to let u know, this has already been posted about a million times. even though they're on the back few pages, u should still look for the answer to such a simple question
I dunno that sounds fishy i dont see how they could charge anybody. you dont have to register it...ive used the Wi-Fi but they wouldnt have anyway of verrifying who to send the bill to unless they made you register to use the feature. but does anybody know more about this ?
Playing online is free. It is basically a disclaimer that if you use someone's wi-fi internet service, they will not be responsible for whatever charges you incur so you should make sure you know the charges (if any) of whatever wi-fi/internet service you are using.
So your saying that the Wireless Network that you are connecting to might charge you extra for connecting your PSP wirelessly ???
What I am saying is there might be a charge for using the wi-fi network no matter what you are using (PSP, computer). Nowadays, I am seeing more wi-fi hotspots but they won't let you use the internet on their network unless you pay first. There are also many wi-fi hotspots (like at my office park) where you can freely use it. Sony wants to make sure that you are aware of this fact and that they are not responsible for any charges for a wi-fi service. Think of it this way. You are playing an online computer game. The software company that produced that game would make it clear that they will not be responsible for paying for your internet connection.
unless you like, live next to some wifi hotspot, then u shouldnt really worry about using it w/ out paying
