I am trying to figure out a way to put a dvd onto the computer and then run it through tmpgenc so I can resize the screen to full screen from widescreen. However the only way this allows me to do that is if it's an mpeg file. Is there another way I could do this without having to make it into an mpeg file and lose the quality from the video? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Matt75 All I do is run the dvd through dvd2svcd D2SRoba,with options dvd to dvd,and full screen keep aspect ratio selected. You then have a full screen copy with no loss of quality. cheers killer_ollie
Thanks for the reply. Is there somewhere I can get this D2SRoba program at? Any help would be appreciated. thanks

DVD Santa is perfect for exactly what you want to do. No mish mosh. It's just point and click. Shoot me a PM and I'd be happy to take care help.
Thanks for the help everyone. What I am trying to do is convert a dvd-r that I have that is in PAL format over to NTSC format. But the video has been made into widescreen format and I'm wanting to put it into full screen format. What would you all recommend in achieving these results? Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
DVD santa has these options available on it's main interface after the media you import is ready for conversion. There is a radio button to choose between convert to NTSC or PAL and aspect ratio and screen size, ie. wide or full. Can't ask for anything easier than that. Once chosen, click "Create DVD".
