Okay, some of you probably know I have been trying unsucessfully for a couple weeks now to get a Dual Layer burned with nero. I have a dual layer burner, I have nero ultra 7. I have removed all roxio software, no help, have updated, no help. Now I have tried to do a straight dvd to dvd conversion with recode. It was (as usual) transscoding just fine until it hit the time for the 2nd layer, then failure. It is getting so frustrated! Is it possible my burner is faulty? It seems to be more of a software problem but frankly I dont know and am getting at my wits end. According to the log posted you still have Roxio installed Uninstall and run this zapper http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml We have also had a report that the LATEST version of Nero(the one you are using) also has a few bugs. This bit concerns me, what brand of media are you using I would also edit your serial number before someone pirates it.
