    Okay, so I know nothing about this Xbox Mod stuff, but my girlfriend has a modified Xbox. It is full of Emulators and Roms and such that she just enjoys playing. The guy who modded it for her moved away and well I'm just trying to help out by posting for help here. For some reason her Xbox started randomly glitching. The Roms play slow, GTA: Vice City for instance lags and just runs slowly, this problem just occured after working properly for a while. The only information I know to give is the following:
    BIOSCHECK
    Boxplorer {G-Patched}
    ConfigMagic-XBOX-1.6-FINAL
    DVD-x2 DONGLEFree DVD-Player
    DVD2xbox
    Enigmah Videomode Switchdisc
    Xbox FTP Client
    Xbox Mediacenter
    Xbox Mediaplayer
    Xbox Watch
    XCommander R2 G
    XENIUM

    I don't know what any of this means, but can someone help me out please?

    Use FTP to get into the Xbox and empty the contents of E:\Cache

    So from what I understand I have to have the Xbox hooked up to a computer or the internet or whatever to clean out the FTP Cache thing? Oi, I apologize for my ignorance and lack of knowledge.

    You will need to hook your xbox up to the internet via ethernet cable. Then download an FTP program such as flash fxp (my fav), smart ftp, or cute ftp. FTP just means file transfer protocol and it gives you a direct link to the files on your xbox. You just need to open your ftp client click on the lightning bolt. Then click quick connect and where it says server or url type in your xbox's ip adress which should show on your xbox's dash somewhere ex: 192.168.1.1 or sumthin like that. then for a username type xbox, password is also xbox then click connect. If it worked you should see all the folders on your box like E,C,X,Y,Z etc. then click E:, then cache, then just clean it out and your all set!

    Okay thanks Creation3, I will try to do all that. I'm not sure if it does, but I think it already has an FTP Server thingy on it because under apps it has "Xbox FTP Client" and it has all this other stuff on it that I have no idea what it is. Can one of you please tell me from my first post how good/bad the modded system is? Also if you don't mind, all you people out there please also keep a check on this, I may need additional help haha, sorry again for my lack of knowledge on this, oh and to add to the problem I've had with the video lagging, the sound is lagging badly now as well, but I'll try clearing the cache thing and see what happens, I will keep you all updated, thanks for the help.

    You do NOT need to have your Xbox connected to the internet...

    My tutorials will explain everything, including how to FTP! Seriously, read them...
