I'm currently modding an old xbox to fit into my car, the xbox has all ready been modded with an X3 and now updated with the latest bios, the dvd drive has been removed but the boot option has been disabled in the X3 bios.

Now for my wierd problem, with the original psu I can boot the xbox up into xbmc no problem with either the power or the eject button (even though there is no dvd drive).

As soon as I put in the M2-ATX psu with a sickmods atx convertor I can boot into xbmc if I press the eject button but as soon as I press the power button it disables the X3 chip and boots to the ms dash and of course moans about not having a dvd drive.

Can anybody please help me because it has me totally confused!!

    cheers

OK I've sorted it, (although not totally, may get arround later to looking at it properly). It seems to be a problem with the connection from the X3 to the power board, If I remove the lead from the X3 to the power/eject control board it all works perfectly the m2-atx can power up and down the xbox with out any problems.

Thanks to everybody who has looked into this problem, if I find a way to be able to keep the interconection wire from the X3 to the power/eject control board I will post it up

    Once again cheers
