wifi help

I play ps3 online alot so i decided to move the router and modem in my basement to i can get as better conect because before everythihng was upstairs. I had this usb network adpter for my laptop but my laptop broke so now im using it for my computer upstairs. I don't get good wifi signal upstairs so now i need something that will boost the signal upstairs to my usb adapter and my psp. I can't get a bigger antenna for my router because my router doesn't have detachable antennas. I have the Belkin N1 wireless router. So I need like a wireless signal booster that i can put in the middle of my house or something or like a wireless networking bridge. Im not really sure what to search for. I searched wireles networking bridge but nothing came up, I also searched other stuff but still nothing. Any ideas? I have an old hawking router so is there a hack or mod or something that will make it into a bridge?
