Wii 3.4E softmod help!

    hi guys/girls

    im new on here and this is my first post so sorry if this has already been asked but....

    i just got a Wii and it has version 3.4E on it so when i tryed to softmod it, it wont work is there a new softmod or anything i can do to get it to play backups (im new to this so explain in detail thanks)

    The cIOS will not install if you have 3.4 firmware.

    You will need to follow this guide HERE to enable the instillation of WAD/cIOS files onto the system.

    Have fun though.

    Now that we have heard of a anti mod chip drive and a firmware update that blocks the zelda hack once again.

    The thing on everyones mind is whats next.

    There is already a 3.4 TP hack available.

    will the twilight hack work to get homebrew on if its a virgin wii with 3.4e? as when i tryed it just hung up ?

    ok so i got the tw hack on my wii and when it goes to a dos page it comes up failed to read boo.dol and hangs up help!

    Do you have a boot.dol in the root of the SD card to boot with?

    yes i got the boot dol of homebrew website and extracted it with win raw to the sd card so on the card i have private folder, boot.dol, and apps folder its a sandisk 2gb micro sd in an adaptor tryed it with windows format fat and also fat32 still no joy

    sandisk 2gb micro sd in an adapter possibly could be the issue. Try getting a non-secure SD Card.

    orderded a toshiba 2gb sd card today and a reader as i was using my phone to load via usb

    hope i can get it going so i just need wii hack 3.4 homebrew boot.dol and the apps file with programs i want?? am i missing anything

    What's the difference between a non-secure and a secure SD card?

    I thought they were all Secure Digital lol!

    What are the official Wii ones by Sandisk secure or non secure?

    hey.. i hope people still check this. so i have a US wii ver 3.4U and i want to soft mod it but i'm not sure how to do so. i checked the tp hack guide but the thing is, on the bottom of my zelda disc it says JPN, so do i copy over the jpn save file? and what would happen if i put in the wrong one?
