will an iso for windows work on a mac

    my brother has just got a mac ive looked for adobe cs3 master collection but i cant seem to find it would it work putting a cd/dvd iso for the windows version in a mac if not can someone please help

    from my experience, an iso will not work on a macintosh. not my macbook pro.. you can use iso's on a mac to BURN only, or to read the files, but not install them.

    Mac's use a .dmg file to install things like adobe will be on a .dmg file. i have a copy of it if you wanna email me, and i'll see what i can do

    An ISO is just a disc image. It can contain Windows programs or Mac programs. Windows programs run on Windows, Mac programs run on Macs.

    You can mount and burn ISO disc images a number of ways. Disk Utility and Toast are a couple of them.
