Pardon me if this is a dumb question but searching didn't reveal the answer. My Samsung DVD writer has "lightScribe" capability but when I tried it came up with a message that the disc was the right kind.

Will the TaiyoYuden with Silver Thermal Lacquer work for this?

I may be wrong butI don't think Taiyo Yuden makes a Lightscribe disc. Verbatim does, though.

Silver thermal won't work for the lightscribe. They need to say lightscribe media. Try the Verbatims one's as mistycat suggested.

I'm pretty sure you're right - no lightscribe on Taiyo's.
