Will my new hard drive work in my xbox?

    I just bought an 80 gb, 7200 rpm, 8 mb cache, western digital hard drive model number WD800JBRTL. Can anyone tell me if I can use this in my xbox? I have a executer pro 2.2 mod chip. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you very much! (I'm sorry if this topic was discussed in an old thread. I searched for it but couldn't find it anywhere!)

    i don't see why not..
    just be sure when you put it in to set the jumpers to primary/master

    i've used a wd 40gb 7200 rpm fine...

    Is it really necessary to put the jumpers to master because I installed 3 HDD and set them to Cable Select and they work fine...
