Hi Everyone, a quick question if someone could help me out please? I have a Virgin V+Box at home. My house got robbed on friday night, and they took the box.. I phoned virgin and told them, apparently they are sending out a new box.. Which I havent receieved yet! Now.. I got the box back, loooong story. But Im not sure about connecting the box again, in case Virgin know that I have the box. I wouldnt mind having 2 going in the house!.. one for the footie/bedroom..lol Does the box get an IP from virgin?.. will they be able to ping/detect that I have the box back at home? - The box card was previously chipped Thanks for your help guys..
yes they will know as your box has talk back on it and anyway your card will be disabled now and to be honest i would ring them and tell them you got it back
your house gets robbed and you got the box back! police may be interested to know "how" and why you only got the box back! dump the box no more questions
