   I have all my DVD's backed up on -R's but read about the Western Digital WD TV Mini Media Player. Will this allow me to hook my external HD right to the tv and watch my ISO's?

   No. It says it will playback a variety of media types but it doesn't say it will playback disc images (ISO and the like)
