Will VCD creation through Nero on CD-Rom work on TV DVD players?

    If I burn a video onto a CD-ROM using Nero and the "VCD" way, will this CD work on non-computer DVD players that hook up to TV's?

    Please, please don't ever, never use Nero to encode anything.

    And yes, by following the instructions we have in our article page for burning VCDs with Nero, most of the DVD players will play the CD nicely.
