hi sorry if its been said before but i have searched and i cant seem to get a straight forward answer. my xbox is chipped so it will play backups, but some games are larger and it would be easier just to stick em on a dvd-dl.

    thanx

    Sorry homie.
the Xbox will not read a DL.
And just FYI use memorex DVD+R's They will even work in a samsung drive (Samsung can only Read -R's normally)

The Xbox will Read good quality Dual layer disc's
use Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden Dual Layer Disc's -R work better...and not to Flame Plowran but memorex DVD+R disc's are one of the worst out the they are usually fuji-film disc's which use very cheap dye and are not very compatible with most Drive my samsung will read about everything i throw at it except Imation Disc's.....

My xbox can read almost all dual layer brands at any speed and it can read most dvd+-r/cd-rw media. And i use an original Samsung drive.
