So i am getting super pumped for the GTA4 Expansion Lost and Damned. Looking at all the reviews and they are looking good. I do not recall seeing anything lower than an 8 with some perfect 10s in there. also one of the only complaints is that the story isnt as good in the writing dept but that makes sense cause niko had to estaqblished by the player and the player grew with the character in some ways but now the character is established in the city already so that growth does not take place on such a higher level as it did with the fresh GTA 4 experience. However the gameplay is top notch and new multiplayer modes are included. NOW here is my favorite thing i heard: It is VERY hard to fall off a Bike or get knocked off. and in the IGN video (first link) you will see for yourself and seriously im excited to wack some pwople off their bike with a baseball bat LOL But my only worry is if the servers will crash when it is released at 3 AM EST 2 AM CST in the USA. single player so far for me, its looking cool, these guys definetly have more attitude than niko, which i like. some brutal stuff too, they def did not hold anything back. toture ppl and stuff crazy. some reviews complained about the grainy filter but it can be turned off so i dont see the big deal
so do you have to be connected to lIVe to play the expansion pack, i know you need to in order to get it to begin with, but is there offline play also?
there is offline play, it is mostly single player content. i was playing and got disconnected from live and continued playing with no change. i am 25% complete so far. just got quest for gang wars. already saw the ePenis ewww ....let me just say its the first time i am sorry we have advanced graphics these days oh yea i almost forgot, driving motorcycles now is SUPER EASY and REALLY FUN!!!!!!!!!!! i cannot emphasize how different it is now. i havent tried regular gta 4 yet but im hoping they applied the same changes to bike handling cause it makes a huge impact
