win 2k wont boot

    my win 2k wont boot dont get anything on the monitor dont boot up at all turns on and freezes dont show anything when trying monitor works the computer work as well as hd any one with a seguestion well come if i reformated my drive and re install would it help ( have 2 computers so can format the drive)

    lol dont worry i took out the videocard and it works again thanks any way
