i have to avi files which i need to put on dvd.do i merge them as one title or as one dvd using win.avi converter 7.7 as i then need to burn it using dvd shrink thanks in advance
Hello wahmeiman, I had to laugh at your current "sig" Oh no not again. Welcome to AfterDawn if no one has said it yet! Anyways on to business eh? To burn ANY file to a DVD, first and foremost you have to make it DVD COMPLIANT.(Mpeg-2) There are programs that Convert the files over as you mention, the "merge of files" as you put it has got me so far. Just in case...... did you have RAR files originally? You say you need to burn with shrink etc. Well sorry DVD Shrink doesn't actually burn anything, it's either Nero or ImgBurn that do that job. (generally) So to recap if you have RAR files then you need to unpack them. It's most likely the files are AVI which need to be converted to a DVD compliant format. DVD Shrink can Recode the files for you and either Nero or ImgBurn will burn the files to a DVD disc
