WIN XP MEDIA PLAYER 11- wont play DVD DISKS

    My win xp media player 11 wont play any dvd movies either original or copies.I have tried everything possible.DVD can be played on the classic media player, power dvd 6 but not on media player 11.Any advice please.Thanks

    First, you will need to configure WMP to play video files.

    Open Windows Media Player 11. Click TOOLS> OPTIONS> FILE TYPES TAB. Place a tick in the box next to each of the following.
    1. Windows Media File (WMV)
    2. DVD Video
    3. Windows Video File (AVI)
    Click Apply> OK.

    Next, set up AUTOPLAY.
