win7 wants to activate. WTF KB971033 not installed??

    All of a sudden windows 7 wants to activate and there's a 27 day grace period. KB971033 is not installed. What can be done?

    Do it again. BTW, there are other activation checks besides KB971033

    my windows 7 had a 30day activation period i got my net connected on the 40th day after i got my computer.still activated fine.

    On all copies of windows now when first installed 30days to activate then windows will run with reduced functionality until activated.
