win98???

    im using win xp right now, and i want to use win 98 on my hd, but when i try and go to set up win 98 i get this message "You cannot install windows 98 while running this version of windows. Start your computer in MS-DOS mode and than install winows 98.", i would do the ms-dos start up mode but i dont have a floppy drive in my computer cuz i thought i wouldnt need a floppy for my computer, any help would be really appriciated thanx

    have you booted off win98 cd?? what format is the hd in for xp as in fat32 or ntfs?

    fat 32, and when i reboot with 98 in cdrom nothing happens it goes straight to windows uploading

    If you want to create a multiple-boot system using Windows 98 or Windows Me with Windows 2000, or Windows XP, you can format the boot partition by using FAT32.
