My god, I cannot get rid of this thing...It's infected my computer and no matter what I have run (SpyDoctor, Microsoft Defender or AdAware), I cannot get rid of this.

Anyone know what I can do?

when you say "this thing", what is it doing to your computer? like is it slowing it down, makeing your browser go to pages you didnt ask for, shutting down your computer for you, installing programs you didnt give premission to, etc

spyware doctor and ad-aware search for spyware and tracking cookies. They dont cover mal-ware, viruses, trojans or worms. Do you have an idea what has infected your computer?

    Download HJTsetup.exe
    http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/files/HJTsetup.exe
Double-click HJTsetup.exe to start the installation.
HJT will be installed in C:\Program Files\Hijackthis by default
Accept all default options by continuing to click Next or Install during the setup process.
When you click 'Finish', HJT will automatically open
Select Do a system scan and save a logfile.
The log will open in notepad.
Copy and Paste the log here.

    Hi

I am going to try what you suggested although I am thinking of just reformatting the hard Drive and reinstalling windows over it (This was for a new PC Build, less than 2 weeks anyway)...Would that circumvent the problem in the first place?

I think the origination was from BearShare lite (Thinking it wasn't the lite version after all) but cannot be sure...I think this only because in googling around, it seemed to come up with BearShare mentioned.

What does it do?...I get popups and it is clearly deep seated into the registry and beyond because nothing gets rid of it.

These malware fools need to be tarred and feathered

yeah, reformatting your computer would solve it but would take a while. maca1 is right, paste a hjt log and i'll have a look at it.

Try going in to safe mode "NO NETWORKING" just safe mode on the main admin and do a search for "winanti" some stuff will pop up and after that stop the search. right click the "WinAntiSpy" shortcut and view the properties. when it pops up click "find target" it will open a file with that little fusker in it. delete it. then in the search window delete all the shortcuts and what looks like a txt file. close the search window and all other windows and open the trash bin. empty it and restart your system and let it boot normally. That little fusker is long gone. I hope this helps.
