winavi 8.0 access violatio at address 00000000 ?????

    Have been using the latest version of winavi for a few weeks now and suddenly I start to get this message just before it starts to convert. Why ? Don't know what I could have done to cause this ? the actual message reads: "access violation at address 00000000. read of address 00000000. Please help. Thanks.

    Are you converting a AVI, if so

    Make sure that Windows Media Player can play the source file
    Make sure that there is enough disk space for the conversion.
    You may need some new codec's. Codec package.
