    Can anyone help?
When converting files to DVD format, the end product is usually over 5gb in size therefore too big to burn to my 4.7gb disks. The size of the original avi or mpeg files are usually no bigger than 700mb. This problem happens quite frequently, and I end up deleting the movies out of frustration. Is there a problem with my settings or am I doing something wrong....as I said, I do often have success with this program.
    Thanks

Hopefully you are checking the settings under the "advanced" tab before you encode? i have managed to make oversized files myself by not selecting the correct disc size or by opting for quality rather than speed under the "preference" option.I found very little loss of quality by using the faster option. Works for me!
