winAVI sound synch problem (accentuated by burn)!

    I have often burned DVDs, having produced the files (from MPEGs) with WinAVI, and noticed a synch problem afterwards.

    Mouths move and the sound comes later than it should.

    I check the original DVD files that winAVI has created and there is a delay before the burn but there seems more of one afterwards.

    It seems the burn just accentuates the original delay.

    How can I overcome this synch problem with winAVI?
