I am using version 6.3 of WinAVI Video Converter. After it converts from VOB to AVI I have audio but no video. I can see the picture in the preview screen. What am I doing wrong? I am using a trial copy.

Not much in the way of support on the WINAVI website....

I am not using the NVIDIA video card. I am using the K lite Codec Pack.

I had a similar problem and solved it by going back to the homepage and downloading a few extra .dlls that are listed at the bottom of the page.

    Thanks B2D327!

I replaced the dlls and rebooted my machine. I still can't get the Xvid encoder to work. I sent an email to WinAVI support maybe they have a trick up their sleeve.

Go to the tools section of videohelp.com and look up encoders. You may find what you need that'll integrate itself with the software once it's installed.

Put it in the WinAVI folder that was created in the programs folder of your c drive.

    B2D327,

This is what I received from WinAVI:
    Dear Sir,
    I'm so sorry about that.
The WinAVI Video Converter 7.0 would be released in June.
I think it would have a more effective way with the Xvid encoder.
And at present ,would you please just use the Divx as the encoder when you convert the file to AVI format.
If you have any other problem, please contact with me and give me the detailing about it.
    Really apologize for the inconvenience.
    Yours
    Sincerely
