Ive been using WinAvi forever and I love it and havent run into any problems I havent been able to fix or work around, but now Im baffled. I was helping a friend with it and no matter what I do it refuses to work on his computer. Ive frigged with every setting I can find and uninstalled and reinstalled. Weve tried 3 diff motherboards even but it jsut refuses to work on his computer. Hes running twice as much ram as I am so its not that either. As soon as you go to convert anything it starts and freezes the whole computer up b4 it gets to 5%. Is there some other hardware or software incompatibility Im missing or anything? Help! Suggestions?
