window movie mker slide show to vcd

    i saved slideshow to avi converted to mpeg with tmpge and burned with nero. and dvd players will not play the cd-r , also when i put the same disc back into the computer it will not play there either.
    it just pops up whats written on the disc.
    what i'm i doing wrong!

    If it's an AVI then let Nero do the conversion.
    Nero Vision > Make CD > Video CD > Add Video Files.
    or Nero StartSmart > Make Video CD.
