OK!, i just made my first computer with little money to spend . i buy't a cheep ass mother board that cause allot off problems my towers usb port dont work when i connect it with my motherboard . their was allot more problems that that but i figured them out. now i got this burned version of winxp pro and it keep breaking down,like at first it worked fine but now it's like the software is self destructing nothing work properly . my window media player dont work "i ugraded to version 10"and it stop working now i cant downgrade the ,my file keep getting currupted.and the list goes on!!!. Nextly; i need a mother board that will work wel with my ati 228mb GPU and my AMDXP 3.8 cpu.
You'd be better off actually getting a proper version of Windows XP, you'd be able to get all the updates then and support if required. The motherboard will not cause the operating system to degrade as described. If you downloaded the XP disk, then it could be loaded with viruses and spyware, Ive seen a few (what appeared to be good versions of XP disks) which when scanned on another machine had virses in them.
