Microsoft just doesn't seem to get that Windows 11 is trash, and probably the single most disliked version of Windows yet released. It's not just me saying, many of the tech sites are also saying it. it's time for Microsoft to send Windows 11 to the Dustbin of Time and move on, or their offerings will soon be chasing the tail of Linux.
I have win 7 on this tower & on 1 laptop(win 10 video issue) that I take with me if having a stay of more than 1 day in the hospital & win 10 on the 3rd floor computer tower. will eventually upgrade to win 10 on this tower but not right now. remember that about every 2nd version of windows was crap as xp was good, vista was bad, win 7 was good, win 8 was bad, 8.1 was so so, win 10 is or was alright & win 11 is bad. win 12 or 13 only time will tell.
I have win 11 on my laptop which was purchased for me when I was in the hospital. On my desktop at home I installed Windows 10 which was fine except for the user interface which is easily corrected using classic shell. Microsoft has made a few bad OS over the years but they usually catch on and get rid of them much quicker. Windows 11 has been out now for a good four years and there's no indication that Microsoft is ever going to dump it. Windows Vista was released on January 30, 2007, and replaced by Win 7 on October 22, 2009. Windows 10 was supposed to be the last version and by all accounts Microsoft should of kept it that way.
If there's a Windows 12, it will probably be built around AI, and as ScopNZ noted in a previous post regarding cell phones "AI is in everything." Windows 10 might start to look pretty good about then?
