this is basically a result of my photoshop lookin somewhat fu*ked up when i use my airbrush tools, or feather sh*t. imn suffering from graident banding. after updating my NVIDIA drivers, to no avail, i figure this is the next step..

HP Pavilion DV6500 that comes pre-installed with Windows Vista Home Premium 32-Bit.. however, a 3rd party software i use says my system is capable of running 64 Bit, and i should upgrade..

so i have Windows Vista Ultimate 32/64 Bit on DVD, and im wondering; is it safe to install the 64 Bit Ultimate.. i ask b/c they must've put Windows Vista 32 Bit, for a reason..?

--- or if you know how i could fix my graident banding problem, thats even better

youd think if you pick Home, Premium, or Basic, they'd atleast give you the 64 Bit, if your system could handle it..

i guess, to better phrase it is, will my computer run it ok, performance-wise, and just as fast ?

(cuz i assume, and ive been wrong before.. that running it in 32bit, actually gives me better performance, as its not using all its available resources..?)
