I have a acer aspire one and I unplugged it on mix up. Now it wont boot up? It will go so far and goto the black screen and stay there. The acer aspire one dosent have an optical drive so how would I fix this without losing everything. I do have my Windows 7 install dvd.
You might try getting into Safe Mode or the last known good configuration. The first display on screen as it starts up from a reboot should tell you which key to press. http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm
I tried that, and system restore loads then when it restarts back to the black screen, with no response.
